All You Need is AHAVA

In Type 202, we just finished our giant poster study on an element of type. Working in groups, we worked together to create a type-based poster on a massive scale. My group focused on foreign languages, more specifically Hebrew. In our poster, we spell out the word "ahava" meaning love or to give love. We also used the famous "all you need is love" saying compliments of the Beatles. All the type was printed out on the plotter, cut out individually with an exacto knife, mounted to cold press, and glued onto to our paper. The flourishes were loosely traced on a projector and done by hand by me and Samantha. It was a great project to utilize many different backgrounds and many different talents.
