(Finally) Seeing the End of the Wood Vessel

And the project is....DONE! It's been a lot of hard work, a lot of questions and answers followed by confused looks (sorry Cotter, sometimes you use really big, wood-related terms) but the vessel has been finished!

Just look at these happy, smiling faces of my fellow classmates! 

This is after a rough sanding job (not quite to baby bottom smoothness):


But after sanding for hours and hours, I coated it with Mini-Wax to bring out some of the wood grain and give it a beautiful glimmery finish.

Seriously people, I have been sneezing sawdust for the past couple days now.

    This is great! Chuck says you can come and play in his workshop any time you want--believe me--that is the highest compliment. Even I am not allowed in his shop. Congratulations!
