So finally, I catch my blog up to speed with this project. Our last assignment was to look at the layouts we did for last class, pick three we deemed most successful and incorporated color into those investigations. These aren't all my compositions (there were 18 in all) but these are the ones I think I'm going to refine for my final layouts.
Simplistic, but that's kind of what I like about it.
This 'rocket-themed' one I'm going to experiment with some warmer colors to try and convey heat. Because after all, it's the explosive fire power from those massive engines that propelling that rocket ship into space.
