The Sky's the Limit

Over Christmas, I've had the privilege of another Centennial Bridge commission! After finding the old oil paints and brushes, I was looking forward painting again. Here's some pictures after the first day of work. I started out with a basic charcoal sketch on the three canvases, blocking out where particular color transitions and shading would go. The first thing to tackle with this painting was the sky.
